“CITIES AND SELF-ORGANIZATION”

Da lunedì 11 dicembre alle 9.30 a mercoledì 13 dicembre si terrà il Convegno Internazionale "Città e autorganizzazione - Cities and Self-organization".
Il convegno si terrà presso la "Sala degli affreschi" della Facoltà di Ingegneria, a san Pietro in Vincoli, v. Eudossiana 18, Roma, nei giorni 11 e 13 dicembre 2017, e presso l'Aula Magna della Facoltà di Architettura, a Fontanella Borghese, Piazza Borghese 9, Roma, nel giorno 12 dicembre 2017.
Il convegno è un'iniziativa congiunta dell'AESOP (Association of European Schools of Planning) TG "Public Space and Urban Cultures", del network di ricerca "Tracce Urbane" e della Sapienza Università di Roma, del Laboratorio di Studi Urbani "Territori dell'abitare".
Il convegno è articolato in tre sessioni (Historical and cultural roots of self-organization, Searching for an "enabling" space, Powers and terrains of ambiguity), roundtables e fieldtrips. Keynote speakers: Giancarlo Paba, Sophie Watson e Kenneth Reardon.

The conference is a joint event of the Italian research network “Tracce Urbane / Urban Traces” and Association of European School of Planning (AESOP) Thematic Group Public Spaces and Urban Cultures hosted by Sapienza University of Rome.
The conference will be held on December 11th and 13th, 2017, at the Faculty of Engineering, Sapienza University of Rome, via Eudossiana 18, Rome, in the centre of the city, near the Coliseum and the church of St. Peter in Chains.
It will be held on December 12th, 2017, at the Sapienza University of Rome, Faculty of Architecture, piazza Borghese 9, Rome, in the centre of the city, near via del Corso.
