The 8th International Workshop on Mediterranean Urban Morphology is jointly organized by the SOS Urban Lab research group from the Civil and Industrial Engineering Faculty, Sapienza University of Rome and the AiEM research group - Architecture, Energy and Environment - from Barcelona School of Architecture, ETSAB UPC. This year, the workshop will be held on May 10th-12th. The purpose is to analyze climate-vulnerable neighbourhoods in the city of Rome and associated public spaces. Presentation of methods, evaluation tools and urban survey will be carried out in order to investigate and map qualities of open spaces: urban activity, microclimate, energy performance and thermal comfort.
